Accrington Stanley, Who are they?, Football Prints and Posters

By Matt Berry

A famous TV advertisement in the 1980s featured two young Liverpudlians with one telling the other that Ian Rush had told him that if he didn’t drink milk, he would only be good enough to play for Accrington Stanley. The other fan then said “Accrington Stanley, who are they?” the response being “Exactly.” Incidentally, Stanley’s first crest in 1968 was a Lancashire rose.
