Coventry City FC, Sky Blue

In 1961 Jimmy Hill was appointed manager of Coventry City. He modernised the club’s image and introduced the sky blue strip that we are now so familiar with. He penned The Sky Blue Song in 1962 and guided the club from the Third Division to the First Division in 1967.
